Billie Eilish apologized today for a video that’s making the rounds of her using a racist term for Asians. Billy said she had no idea the word was an offensive term, and that she was only 13 or 14 when she made the video. She said she’s embarrassed and wants to barf because she was mouthing the word. The song she was lip syncing was Tyler the Creator’s “Fish,” and as far as we know he never got any backlash for using the word himself. Also, people are posting a video of what they say is Billie mocking Asian accents, and she says that’s not what she was doing at all, that it is a gibberish funny voice she’s been using since she was a kid.
