UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said he remains "confident that our region will overcome its current challenges", while extending Eid Al Fitr wishes to the UAE community and Muslims around the world.
In a post shared on social media platform X, Sheikh Mohamed said the UAE will "continue to advance towards a peaceful and prosperous future" amidst the regional developments.
He emphasised the UAE's strength, resilience, loyalty, and unity during the ongoing challenges.
The president also sent out individual messages to the UAE community, wishing strength and reassurance as he states: "We stand united as one community".
Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also shared a message of congratulations, wishing for continuous prosperity, stability, and security for the UAE.
As many as 497 vehicles have been seized over unpaid traffic fines and expired registrations during the first half of 2026, Dubai Police announced on Sunday, adding that some penalties amounted to "tens of thousands of dirhams".
