Emaar Properties has been named the recipient of the Dubai-it Award for Institutions in the Field of Real Estate, in recognition of its role in delivering major developments that have helped shape Dubai's urban landscape.
The award was announced by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, who praised the company for embedding Dubai's philosophy of speed, quality and continuous development across its projects and operations.
Sheikh Hamdan said Emaar reflects the Dubai-it spirit in every project, highlighting the company's ability to deliver major developments efficiently while maintaining high standards.
"What Emaar achieves in one year surpasses global benchmarks. Major projects, high quality, speed of delivery, development that never stops. Emaar has created destinations that rank among the world’s most visited. Emaar reflects Dubai-it in every project. When it announces a project, the world trusts its quality and speed. Congratulations to Emaar and Mohamed Alabbar," said Sheikh Hamdan.
Over the years, Emaar has developed some of Dubai’s best-known destinations, including Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, Dubai Hills Estate, Emaar Beachfront, Emaar South and Arabian Ranches.
The developer launched 62 projects and delivered more than 12,000 residential units within a year, demonstrating its capacity to manage a large portfolio while maintaining rapid delivery.
Among its recent achievements was the comprehensive renovation of The Dubai Fountain, completed in five months, while Dubai Mall and Downtown Dubai continued welcoming visitors throughout the project.
Dubai Mall recorded 111 million visitors in a single year, making it the world's most visited destination.
Emaar also continued to draw large crowds to its New Year's Eve celebrations, which attracted 2.8 million visitors during the festive week, including more than 500,000 on the night itself.
The latest recognition highlights Emaar’s role in shaping Dubai’s real estate landscape and supporting the emirate’s position as a leading global destination to live, work and invest.
The Dubai-it Award was launched to honour those who have delivered in line with Dubai’s philosophy of work and demonstrated the true meaning of 'Dubai-it': accomplishing something exceptional, with excellence, in record time.
The award targets individuals, projects, institutions and companies that have helped turn ideas and ambitions into tangible achievements and results.
