UAE President arrives in Moscow on official visit

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday arrived in Moscow for an official visit to Russia. 

The UAE President's was escorted by Russian military aircraft just before it landed at Vnukovo Airport. 

An official reception was accorded to the UAE leader at the airport, where the national anthems of the UAE and Russia were played and an honour guard assembled.

Sheikh Mohamed is scheduled to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin, with the leaders expected to discuss areas of mutual interest. 

The UAE leader's delegation includes Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and others.
