UAE confirms first day of Ramadan

The UAE Presidential Court has confirmed that Saturday, March 1, will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

The moon-sighting committee, which met in Al Hosn, Abu Dhabi, on Friday evening, announced the sighting of the crescent moon.
