The UAE strongly condemned the storming and vandalism of the residence of the head of the military office at the Kuwaiti Embassy in the Sudanese capital Khartoum, and also the storming of the Jordanian Embassy.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation stressed the importance of protecting diplomatic buildings and residences of embassy employees as per the customs and charters that govern diplomatic work.
The ministry reiterated the UAE's firm rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism.
It also underscored the importance of intensifying efforts aimed at reaching a ceasefire and a return to dialogue to achieve the desired political stability and security in Sudan.
