His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has held talks with Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the sidelines of the Sharm El-Sheikh peace summit.
The two sides reflected on the summit's agenda that saw 20 world leaders sign the Gaza peace agreement to cement the truce.
The talks also focused on efforts to promote peace, security and stability in the region, national news agency Wam reported.
The US, along with Egypt, Qatar and Turkey, mediated what has been described as a first phase agreement between Israel and Hamas. At the opening of the summit, Trump signed a document with Egypt, Qatar and Turkey's leaders welcoming the agreement and pledging to "work collectively to implement and sustain this legacy".
Sheikh Mansour and Sheikh Tamim also explored strategies to advance cooperation in key sectors.
