The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev have met in Abu Dhabi to discuss expanding cooperation between their countries.
The meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati, focused on areas such as trade, investment, renewable energy and sustainability.
The two leaders highlighted their shared commitment to sustainable economic growth and mutual benefits for their people.
They also discussed key issues on the agenda at the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), emphasizing the global challenge of climate change and the importance of international cooperation.
Both sides agreed on the need for stronger efforts to promote global security, stability and peace, laying the foundation for future progress and development.
Sheikh Mohamed expressed gratitude for Mirziyoyev’s participation in the event and reaffirmed the UAE’s dedication to enhancing ties with Uzbekistan, especially in sustainability and investment.
