British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron were among world leaders who strongly condemned the renewed Iranian attacks targeting the UAE, pledging continued support for the country.
Macron called the attacks "unjustified and unacceptable", while stressing the need for a lasting solution to the ongoing conflict through the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz to free maritime traffic, alongside a robust agreement providing necessary security guarantees to regional countries.
Starmer also called on Iran to engage in diplomacy to prevent further escalation in the Middle East.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney took to social media to mark his condemnation. "We stand in solidarity with and the people of the United Arab Emirates and commend defensive efforts to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure," he wrote.
India's Ministry of External Affairs condemned the Iranian drone attack on the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone that injured three Indian nationals on Monday, stating that the strike was "unacceptable", calling for a solution based on dialogue and diplomacy.
The European Union also shared its support to the UAE, with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, stating that the union stands "in full solidarity with the UAE and our partners in the Middle East".
"Regional security has direct implications for Europe," she added.
Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia Kuwait, and Bahrain, also released statements denouncing the Iranian aggression and supporting any efforts the UAE takes to protect its people and country.
Meanwhile, Egypt and Jordan have also offered their support, expressing categorical rejection of any practices aimed at terrorising civilians or destabilising the Arabian Gulf region.
Organisations, including the Arab Parliament, Arab League, and Gulf Cooperation Council, also released statements denouncing the attacks, calling on the international community to put a halt to these attacks.
