The confirmation of the first coronavirus cases in the UAE doesn’t pose a threat to public health.
That’s the message from the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), which says the situation is not a cause for concern.
It added that the four-member Chinese family diagnosed with the virus is in a stable condition.
Dr. Hussain Al Rand is the Assistant Undersecretary for health centres and clinics at the ministry.
He told ARN News that there’s no reason to panic.
