Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice-President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has called on every citizen, resident and institution to hoist the national flag at exactly 11 a.m. on November 3.
He said the gesture is a symbol of renewed commitment to the nation, unity, and loyalty to the country and its leadership.

A Day of Nationwide Unity
The day coincides with the annual Flag Day festivities, underlining national pride across homes, businesses and public spaces. Flags will be displayed widely across the UAE, especially as part of Dubai’s broader “National Month” initiative that runs until December 2.
Proper Flag Etiquette
Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that when placing the flag, residents must ensure it is in good condition—not faded or torn. When hung vertically mid-street, the red stripe must be positioned at the top, followed by the other three colours beneath.
