His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, has started an official visit to Oman.
He was received by Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Tariq Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, upon arrival at Oman.
During the visit, Sheikh Hamdan will meet with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, ruler of Oman, and hold talks with senior officials.
The discussions will focus on boosting cooperation and strengthening the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Oman.
The visit will build on a key meeting held in April 2024, when His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met Sultan Haitham in Abu Dhabi during the Omani leader’s state visit to the UAE. The leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost cooperation.
The visit will reaffirm the shared commitment of both countries to advancing strategic, economic and cultural partnerships. It is expected to pave the way for further collaboration across a range of sectors.
