Gulf educators gather in Dubai to share teaching and innovation ideas

WAM

The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences has brought together teachers and education specialists from across the Gulf for a forum focused on educational excellence and innovation.

The “Pioneers of Excellence Forum” included 23 award-winning educators and coordinators from GCC countries.

Held ahead of the foundation’s educational awards ceremony, the event focused on sharing teaching experiences, discussing new trends in education and exploring ways to improve learning environments across the region.

Participants visited Zayed Educational Complex in Al Barsha, where they observed classroom sessions and workshops designed to showcase modern teaching approaches and student learning methods.

The programme concluded with a panel discussion in which educators reflected on the impact of educational awards on their careers and exchanged views on the future of education in the Gulf.

Dr Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the foundation, said the initiative aimed to create opportunities for knowledge-sharing and professional dialogue among educators in the region.

He said the forum was designed not only to recognise achievement, but also to encourage the spread of successful educational practices and strengthen cooperation between institutions across GCC countries.
