Dubai Police have urged holiday-goers to deal directly with official airlines or authorised agencies.
This comes ahead of the Eid break when numerous residents are expected to travel abroad.
The authority took to social media to remind the public to only purchase from official sources to ensure their money is protected.
They also advised travellers to avoid sending passport copies to unknown destinations to prevent misuse.
We urge you all to deal directly with official airlines or licensed tourism agencies, to ensure that your money and rights are well-protected.#YourSecurityOurHappiness #SmartSecureTogether #DubaiPolice #DpAwareness pic.twitter.com/No9Oxt2b5e
