Dubai residents could soon download two new health apps. One of them is ‘Tifli’, a pregnancy app for expecting mothers that provides information and recipes customised for people living in the emirate. ‘Hayati’ is an app for diabetics and their families, which helps patients monitor their glucose levels and reminds them of their targets. The head of the Dubai Health Authority’s (DHA) e-services department, Dr. Maryam Al Saeed, says there are many apps for diabetics, but ‘Hayati’ is developed to meet the needs of the city’s residents.
