Officials at Dubai Economy (DED) shut down nine commercial outlets in January for violating the precautionary measures aimed at combatting COVID-19.
Another 166 establishments were fined and warnings were issued to 24 others for not complying with the rules.
Inspections are being carried out daily by the DED, which has called on people to report any violation through the Dubai Consumer app and other official channels.
