A memorial is to be built in the UAE to honour the nation’s war heroes. According to national news agency WAM, it will be situated near the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque on the eastern side of Sheikh Zayed Road in Abu Dhabi. Authorities say the location was chosen because of the ease of access it offers from all directions. The memorial site will be designed as a major national and cultural destination of the UAE.
