Careem says Emirati drivers are now on the roads of Abu Dhabi.
A total of 14 UAE nationals are now behind the wheel working for the ride-hailing app, with 30 others being prepared to join the team.
The company recently resumed its operations after halting them in 2016 over regulatory issues.
Earlier this month, Careem’s rival Uber announced that Emirati drivers could use their private vehicles to drive for the company.
