Winning Georgia would secure Trump 16 electoral votes.
As of 0955 GST, Trump has secured 246 electoral votes, while Harris has gained 182. To be declared the next president, a candidate would need 270 electoral votes.
Harris is expected to win New Mexico, worth five additional votes.
Trump won the first swing state of North Carolina around an hour ago.
The candidates have won in their respective red and blue states, however, the five remaining swing states- Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin- remain in the air.
Early projections show Trump leading in all of them.
