Actor Zac Efron has posted a health update after a swimming pool incident in Ibiza, which resulted in a hospital visit for the star.

Efron needed medical assistance after a 'minor swimming incident' at the villa he was staying at in Ibiza.

The Hollywood star posted an update on his Instagram on Monday assuring fans he is recovering.

The High School Musical star posted a picture of a workout with that caption "Happy and healthy" and "Thanks for the well wishes."

Efron's most recent movie 'A Family Affair' saw him star alongside Nicole Kidman and Joey King.
