As Star Wars’ highly anticipated seventh installment opens across UAE cinemas today, the film’s Emirati talent has taken centre stage. Crew members, who worked behind-the-scenes of the franchise, walked the red carpet last night as the movie made it’s Middle Eastern debut in Abu Dhabi. The UAE’s capital is heavily featured in the film as it served as the movie’s planet “Jakku”. Abdulla al Suwaidi worked with the Star Wars: The Force Awakens' animatronics team, and shares his most treasured memory.
