Singer Sean Kingston will be extradited to Florida to face allegations in relation to fraud and theft amounting to AED 3.6 million ($1m).

Kingston agreed to sign away his right to challenge the extradition in a California court, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department confirmed.

Police raided his Fort Lauderdale home and arrested his mother on May 23 on the same charges, Kingston was also later arrested in Fort Irwin, southern California.

The artist, 34, whose legal name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother Janice Turner, 61, have been accused by The Broward County Sheriff's Office of taking jewellery, money, a luxury car and more in an alleged scheme to defraud several businesses according to arrest warrants.

In February, Kingston was arrested after a company accused the star of not fully paying for a large TV and sound system which the company has installed in his home.

The business says Kingston "induced" them to install the products with "as small a down payment as possible" by making "numerous false representations", including a suggestion that he would create promotional videos for the company with Justin Bieber.

The company says no payments have been made by the rapper and has sued him for breach of contract and fraud.
