Bollywood star Salman Khan cleared of poaching

An Indian court has acquitted Bollywood star Salman Khan of shooting and killing endangered animals. The incident is alleged to have taken place nearly twenty years ago. The actor, who's appeared in more than 80 movies, had challenged the decision by a lower court which had sentenced him to five years in jail. In clearing him of the charges, High Court Judge Nirmaljit Kaur, decided the shots did not come from his weapon. . The celebrity was not present for the ruling.
