Actor Kevin Hart hospitalised after car crash

Actor Kevin Hart has suffered "major back injuries" after his car crashed into a ditch in Los Angeles early Sunday.

According to the California Highway Patrol report, Hart was riding in his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda on Mulholland Highway in Los Angeles County when the driver, identified as Jared Black, lost control of the car.

It reportedly went off the road and rolled down an embankment.

Hart and Black are being treated at nearby hospitals, while third passenger, internet fitness model Rebecca Broxterman, did not suffer any substantial injuries.
