The UAE has the highest number of private jet owners in GCC, according to new research. Global Jet Capital, a private jet financier, says customers in the UAE purchased 61 mid to heavy private aircraft between 2005 and 2014, the highest in the GCC. A total of 288 aircraft, which cost between $25 million and $75 million, were delivered to customers in the Middle East during the same time period. Saudi Arabia came in next with 52 deliveries, followed by Qatar at 17. The largest number of purchases in the Middle East came from Turkey at 79.
