Lady Gaga has been immortalized after a PhD student named a newly discovered insect after the singer. And I don't mean one bug - a whole new species! Kaikaia gaga is a treehopper native to the Pacific coast of Nicauragua, and has horns, which a PhD student thought was very fashionable, just like Gaga.
A new treehopper species has been named “Kaikaia gaga” after @LadyGaga in an effort to bring more awareness to the insect group:
