Lil Xan has been heartbroken since the tragic passing of his "hero", Mac Miller.
Everyone has their own ways of coping and for Lil Xan, it's to memorialise Mac on his face with a new tattoo.
The tattoo sits above his right eyebrow and reads "Memento Mori", a Latin phrase meaning "Remember That You Will Die".
Xan debuted the tattoo on instagram on Sunday and has received quite a bit of criticism since then, which led him to do a follow up post where he clarified that he did it for himself and he "could care less" if it makes him ugly.
