Drake has withdrawn his two 2022 Grammy nominations. The reasons behind the decision remain unknown at the time.
Sources say Drake and his management made the call and the Grammys ultimately complied.
Drake received two nods including Best Rap Performance for "Way 2 Sexy" and Best Rap Album thanks to Certified Lover Boy.
The categories will now go ahead with just four nominees because the voting period has already begun.
The 2022 Grammys are scheduled for Jan. 31, 2022 in Los Angeles.
