Jeopardy! Host Alex Trebek has died aged 80 after batting pancreatic cancer for more than a year.
He is survived by his wife and two children.

Trebek became the host of Jeopardy! in 1978 and filmed over 8,200 episodes.
He set a Guinness World Record for hosting the most episodes of a single game show. The final episode airs on December 25th
