UAE schools have joined forces in an initiative to make education and resources more accessible to students. As part of UAE Innovation Week, the first of a series of webinars for students was hosted at the Sharjah Science Museum by an astrophysics expert. The initiative is a joint effort between the Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program and Sharjah Museums Department, to enhance the education of science for students in the UAE. It’s in line with the plans of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, to land a space probe on Mars in 2021 to coincide with the 50th year anniversary of the country’s foundation.
