President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has looked into expanding cooperation in key sectors with Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema during his working visit to the UAE on Tuesday.
Both sides discussed opportunities for collaboration in the areas of economy, renewable energy, and infrastructure, building on their bilateral ties spanning more than 50 years.
The meeting further addressed the ongoing negotiations on a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the two countries.
The two leaders expressed hope that once signed, the agreement would mark a significant step forward in their economic relations.
Sheikh Mohamed also wished the Zambian President success in his new presidential term.
