The UAE has summoned the Israeli Deputy Head of Mission, David Ohad Horsandi, to formally express its strong condemnation of Israel’s recent attack on Qatar.
Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation, conveyed the UAE’s firm denunciation of the "blatant and cowardly attack", as well as provocative statements made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
She called the actions a clear violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter, and a dangerous escalation that threatens both regional and global stability.
The minister emphasised that Qatar’s security is an integral part of the collective security of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, adding that any attack on a GCC member state is considered an attack on the entire bloc.
Al Hashimy called for an end to the hostile and provocative rhetoric, warning they could lead the region down a dangerous path.
