These medical supplies were dispatched as part of the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign. Since October 4, the UAE has sent 14 aircraft - 12 to Lebanon and 2 to Syria.

Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations, reiterated the UAE's commitment to assisting the Lebanese people.

He added that The UAE is also working on sending 40 tonnes of additional food supplies to Lebanese refugees in Syria and returning Syrians.

The Emirates Red Crescent, in partnership with the UAE Aid Coordination Office, is leading the distribution of these crucial supplies to those most in need.
