UAE provides AED 50 million in winter, medical aid for Gaza

The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) is providing AED 50 million worth of winter and medical aid, along with essential supplies, to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The assistance comes under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with follow-up by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of ERC.

The aid includes winter clothing, blankets, food parcels, shelter tents, medicines and essential medical supplies, aimed at supporting families as winter approaches, particularly children, the elderly and other vulnerable groups.

The initiative is part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian efforts under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, in coordination with relevant authorities, to meet urgent needs and ease the suffering of affected Palestinians.
