The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is on a state visit to South Korea, has attended a special banquet held in his honour at Changdeokgung Palace in Seoul.
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon-hee welcomed Sheikh Mohamed, who was accompanied by Her Highness Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairperson of the Presidential Court for National Projects.
The Emirati delegation also attended a traditional Korean tea ceremony and was given a tour of the palace's Secret Garden.
The UAE President praised the Korean people's dedication to preserving their heritage and culture, and expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality.
He emphasised the role of culture and arts in building bridges of communication and understanding, noting that these elements are a valuable part of heritage passed down through generations.
