UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, have underscored the need for de-escalation in the region during talks in Abu Dhabi.
Both sides reiterated the need to prioritise dialogue and diplomacy to prevent further tensions and crises.
The Turkish minister reiterated Turkey's condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, noting that it constitutes a violation of international law and poses a threat to regional stability.
Both sides also exchanged Eid Al Fitr greetings.
Fidan also conveyed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's wishes to the UAE President for continued progress and prosperity for the Emirates.
