UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, conveying his condolences following the factory incident in the Ras Laffan industrial zone.
Sheikh Mohamed extended his sympathies to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those injured.
He also reaffirmed the UAE’s solidarity with Qatar and its support in the aftermath of the incident.
For his part, Sheikh Tamim thanked Sheikh Mohamed for his condolences and support, highlighting the strong and longstanding ties between the two countries and their peoples.
