UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with Berlin’s Governing Mayor, Kai Wegner, as part of his state visit to Germany.
During their meeting at Berlin’s Rotes Rathaus, the two sides discussed the longstanding UAE-Germany partnership and ways to strengthen cooperation, particularly in environmental sustainability, infrastructure, smart city development, green growth and sustainable urban development.
They also explored greater cooperation and the exchange of expertise between cities in the UAE and Berlin, supporting efforts to build more sustainable and prosperous communities.
Following the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed signed Berlin’s Golden Book, the city’s official register for distinguished visitors and one traditionally signed by visiting heads of state.
