Minister of State for International Cooperation, Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, met with Israel’s Ambassador to the UAE, Amir Hayek, marking the end of his tenure in the country.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed various issues, and developments in the region.
Al Hashimy affirmed the UAE’s unwavering position in rejecting violence and escalation that serve to further increase the risks of instability, emphasising the necessity to resolve disputes through diplomatic means, rather than confrontation and escalation.
She expressed her wishes for future success for the Ambassador and commended his role during his tenure.
Meanwhile, Hayek commended the progress witnessed in bilateral relations and expressed his appreciation to all UAE entities for their cooperation, which positively contributed to the success of his tenure in the country.
