The UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) and its strategic partners are closely monitoring weather conditions in the coming days and implementing proactive measures to mitigate potential impacts nationwide.

Authorities are ensuring readiness across key sectors, with safety updates and guidelines to be shared through official channels.

The National Centre of Meteorology says the country is set to experience a period of atmospheric instability, with cloud systems moving in from the west.

This is expected to bring convective cloud formation across parts of the country, with rainfall of varying intensity, along with thunder, lightning and a chance of hail in some areas.

Light to moderate rain is expected on Saturday, turning heavy at times over northern and eastern regions and Al Ain during the day.

Showers will continue into Sunday, particularly in the north and east, with similar conditions forecast through Monday and Tuesday across much of the UAE.

Cloud cover will persist on Wednesday, with a chance of rain in some northern and eastern areas.

Further unsettled weather is expected from Thursday through Saturday, with scattered rainfall continuing across the country.
