The UAE will focus on leveraging AI to "streamline processes and improve management of resources" in a move to switch to "a new chapter in shaping a smarter, faster and more efficient government".
Unveiling the UAE Federal Government Strategic Plan 2031 on Sunday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai, highlighted that it's time to change the tools of governance.
Sheikh Mohammed pointed out that "in the past, success was measured by the strength of regulations, the size of teams, and the complexity of procedures".
However, that has changed. "Today, success means making things easier and faster — delivering seamless services and using resources wisely in a complex world.," Sheikh Mohammed wrote in his social media post.
"Tools may change, and goals may shift, but one thing stays the same: our commitment to excellence in serving the people of the UAE," he added.
