The UAE has expressed its sincere condolences to the southern Russian region of Dagestan after a gas station explosion left 35 people dead.
Russia’s Health Ministry said 115 people were also injured in the blast.
The explosion occurred on Monday night when a fire started at a car repair shop and spread to a nearby gas station, triggering the blast on the outskirts of Makhachkala, the region's capital.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and wished all those injured a speedy recovery.
