The UAE has expressed its solidarity with New Zealand following heavy rainfall that caused floods and landslides, killing at least two people with several missing.
The natural disaster has also caused substantial damage to several properties in the country.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the victims' families, the government, and the people of New Zealand over this tragedy.
