United Arab Emirates President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides on a working visit to the UAE.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and advance cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of economy, trade, investment, technology, renewable energy, education, culture and tourism.
Both sides affirmed their shared commitment to achieving the goals of this partnership in a way that brings growth and prosperity to their people.
H.H. Sheikh Mohamed and the Cyprus President also reviewed the developments in the Middle East region and their serious repercussions on regional and global security and stability.
President Christodoulides reiterated Cyprus’ condemnation of the Iranian attacks against civilians, facilities and civilian infrastructure in the UAE and countries of the region, which constitute a violation of state sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter.
