UAE confirms safety of pepperoni beef after contamination concerns

The UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has reassured the public that all necessary precautions are in place to ensure consumer safety following concerns over potential contamination of pepperoni beef with listeria monocytogenes bacteria.

After thorough investigations and inspections, the ministry confirmed that the facility involved has adhered to all required preventive measures.

It was also verified that products currently available in the market are safe and fully compliant with health and regulatory standards.

The ministry reiterated its commitment to food safety and public health, emphasizing ongoing collaboration with relevant authorities to maintain high safety standards.
