The UAE has strongly condemned the shooting incident near a mosque in Oman’s Wadi al-Kabir area on Tuesday.
The attack killed at least nine people, including one policeman, and injured 28 others, the Royal Oman Police confirmed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed its comprehensive rejection of all forms of violence which undermine security, and extended sympathy to the victims of the attack.
