UAE lifts Lebanon travel ban for citizens

Starting June 29, UAE nationals can resume travel to Lebanon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) announced, lifting earlier restrictions.

However, registration on the Twajudi service is mandatory prior to travel.

Travellers will need to submit details including place of residence in Lebanon, emergency contact details, update on return to UAE and notify of any changes.

In case of emergencies, UAE nationals must contact the ministry via the emergency hotline at 80024 for prompt response and timely assistance.

The authority warned that failure to complete registration will lead to travel delays or legal actions.

In April, the ministry had issued a travel ban to Iran, Lebanon and Iraq for UAE citizens following regional developments.
