The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in partnership with the Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, has launched a new initiative titled, ‘Together for Education’.

Running from September 16 to October 15, 2024, the campaign aims to raise AED 100 million to support low-income families in Abu Dhabi by covering overdue school fees and assisting with other educational costs.

The campaign is set to benefit 6,000 students and will also help cover operational costs for eligible schools, ensuring that they can continue to provide quality education. Additionally, it will supply necessary school materials to help students continue their studies.

Mohamed Haji Al-Khoury, Director General of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, emphasised that the campaign aligns with the foundation’s mission to promote social solidarity and innovative solutions in the UAE. "This initiative is a milestone in the nation’s track record of philanthropy, aimed at overcoming economic and social barriers to education," he said.

‘Together for Education’ builds on the success of previous humanitarian campaigns in the UAE, reaffirming the country’s dedication to ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve their educational goals.

The initiative underscores the collaborative spirit of the UAE community in addressing societal needs and enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
