Police in Sharjah on Sunday rescued a child who was accidentally trapped inside his family car.
Officials said the boy was left behind in the vehicle by his parents by accident.
According to a statement on the Sharjah Police's official social media handle, the boy was in danger of suffocation due to high temperatures inside the car.
They added that it was a resident of the Al Nahda neighbourhood who had informed them about the incident.
