Prophet Mohammed birthday: UAE announces holiday for public sector

The federal government has announced a holiday on October 29 to mark the Prophet's birthday.

The announcement was made on the official Twitter account of the Federal Authority For Government Human Resources.

This makes it a long weekend, with work ending on Thursday and resuming on Sunday, November 1.
